The Wellington Hotel

The wellington was a perfect location for my trip , with ample safe parking for my vehicle. The staff were very helpful and informative. The room was ideal for my stay clean and modern . Howden was a nice experience

Nothing really , not a criticism, just an observation, the steps to the rooms are steep , not adequate for elderly or disabled, I knew this when I booked . Just take this into account when looking to book Was ok for me

Staff were friendly, rooms were clean. They provided us with a safe place for bikes and a very much needed comfy bed after our 60km bike ride.

The rooms still do not have free WiFi. Was is disappointing is that it's been almost a year since I personally highlighted this issue to the facility management (my first stay with them in Nov 2023), and still the rooms dont have WiFi.

Nikita was a very good host. Great full English and free parking.

Welcoming helpful staff. As it was quiz night they weren't serving food, but there are plenty of options within a few hundred metres. Great inclusive breakfast options served early enough for an onward journey. Good sized car park. Rooms are up a couple of flights of stairs and fairly standard with a private bathroom across the corridor. Fairly basic, functional accommodation, but for a one night stop over and at the price excellent value for money.
