Vi fick checka in tidigt.

Frukosttider stämde ej med booking.com. frukost var kl09. Personal kom vid 9.15. Dålig service,ingen menu,fick be om 2 kaffe. Lyckades få 1. Bad om juice, fick ett glas. Fick be om ett till. Rätt som det var fick vi en tallrik med frukost. Vi fick ej göra beställning. Vi har aldrig fått en mer fruktansvärd frukost någonstans. Det var slöseri då det knappt var ätligt. De bad om rumsnyckeln vid 9.30 vid frukosten. Utcheckning var 10. Så det blev inga borstade tänder etc. Om det var så att ägarna var trötta efter fredagens karaoke?? De behöver se över sitt beteende mot övernattande gäster. Och att det stämmer överens med booking.com. På tok för dyrt för ett väldigt "trött" rum.

No heating, separate bathroom and breakfast starts at 9am

The hosts were genuine the nicest people. Their warm, friendly atmosphere made it a great place to stay. Absolutely loved the karaoke on Friday evening with a good vibe. Communication was great from the host, and I had no problem asking for a heater when my room was cold. I can see that the hosts are truly loved by the locals and are very hard working, making sure that my stay was comfortable and safe. Plenty of parking on site.

Room was cold, but no fault from the hosts as they warned me before check-in that the radiators had a temporary issue which was in the process of being sorted. My meal Friday night was great,however Sat night the food was over cooked. A bit dissapointed to learn that everything was frozen and not cooked from fresh.

Plenty of parking, great location, very welcoming.

The room needs updating, noise from the bar until after two in the morning, breakfast was good but no choice of cereals or juice.

Breakfast was unavailable because it started at 9 am most people start work 7.30 -8.00 so no alternative for me , even though I paid for breakfast. Bit of a con to be honest, even though the host said a lot of people come back for breakfast, I work 30min from Howden so that is a hour travel for breakfast. Not going to happen.

Put the usual please clean my room on the door handle , totally ignored over 3days , not bothered didn’t care .

The shower is incredibly hot and won't turn down, needs looking at

We enjoyed a good weekend at the Wellington Hotel. Shane and Sam made us feel very welcome and a very good breakfast would definitely recommend a stay at the Wellington.
