The Wellington Hotel

Great location for the gig we attended at the nearby hall. Plenty of parking spaces. Hotel staff were friendly and we got in our room early. Room was clean with a great shower and comfy bed. Tea and coffee available in room. There was a karaoke night on which was great fun at the end of our evening. Breakfast was fab. All in all great value for money, good hotel and lovely people.

Nice warm room, hot shower although across the corridor. I was aware of this so I was prepared. Nice cooked breakfast and great staff

No mention on the Booking.com site that the restaurant and bar at the hotel are closed on Mondays!! I chose this hotel because I had heard good reviews of their food and atmosphere- and everything was closed!

Lovely stay and staff super friendly and so helpful , have no hesitation in recommending this hotel

Very friendly greeting. Great service . Made a great effort to let us all check in early. Harty breakfast. Definitely recommend.

I was greeted very politely by a very busy member of staff. Service was a little slow but only because it is clearer a popular venue for locals as well as travellers. My room 14 was very comfortable and clean. There is a damp patch on the ceiling outside the ensuite door. Unfortunately i did not see any staff to show them as i left. A very convenient place to stay right in the centre of the lovely market town.

Well located for visiting our friends who live nearby. Friendly staff.
