Caribou Gem

Such a cute little roadside motel. The rooms are small but beautiful and still have a little kitchen in them which is super helpful. They owners/managers really seem to care that you have a good experience and that the property serves you well. It only took us about 10 ish minutes to get to Lava Hot Springs. Our little room was a very welcoming addition to the end of fun and adventurous days.

Nothing mention anything about a train that goes by ALL thru the night and keeps us up. A very terrible stay at this place.

This places is ridiculous there is no front desk you have to call to get a code that supposedly works on the door and then put your fingerprint in then you have to go in and hunt down your key and a locker that they put it in but you also have to have the code for however you have to have Internet service and it’s in the middle of nowhere so you get no service and then they still expect you to pay when you can’t get a room key after an hour of trying. Worst Hotels.com experience of my life we wound up not staying she still charged us even though it was their fault

Our room was exceptionally clean. The comfort of the bed made for getting a good night rest. The shower a little small. And coffee in the room to go with the coffee maker would have been nice.

We arrived and didn't know how to check in. We called the number on the sign and only got constant busy signals. We arrived around 9pm. Cell reception (t mobile) was almost non existent. Looked up phone number online and called that number and talked a couple minutes before connection was totally lost. Drove about a hundred feet to show some signal again and finally got instructions on how to get the key. Room was great. Nice kitchen, large refrigerator/freezer. Everything you need or want in a room. The radiator heating keep the room nice and warm. Shower was powerful and as hot as you could possibly want. Beds were not very comfortable but typical for most hotels. Overall, nice place.

Great motel. Trying to check-in was a little difficult and also the trains through out the night were a little rough, but overall I would stay there again. Great price and they are really nice inside for what your paying.

Pleasantly surprised once we walked in the door. Clean, comfortable. The room exceeded my expectations.

What a GREAT old time hotel experience. This out of the way location is a perfect gem. My kids loved it. The outside looks small but inside, the rooms are spacious. Our room had a full size kitchen complete with stove. ALSO a great price and worth the couple minutes extra drive.

Great place, even has a kitchen with dishes, full oven, stove and refrigerator, plus a microwave. Only fault is the train track across the street with trains coming and going at all hours. Yes at 3am, 6 am. plus.
