Value compared to newer properties. It was a nice short walk from the station and into town. The owner was welcoming and was able to show me to my room to dump my suitcase when I simply expected to leave it with reception for later booking in. The doors were controlled electronically via fobs so no wrangling keys for the front door. Very comfortable bed and modern bathroom.

I didn't see any warning of the four very steep front steps up into this older building. I am a 70-year old woman with arthritic knees and had a heavy suitcase. A hand rail would have been welcome. Also very tight narrow staircases inside. The booking details said breakfast included but the owner told me they were stopping what they offered but said there was still some cereal. So, I went out for breakfast.

The location

Couldn't get into the place, had to ring up to get access. The room was terrible, stained sheets, shower filthy, toilet seat wobbly, sink plug didn't work, no information regarding the internet, the towels were terrible I used my top. Hole in the bathroom door, the room was a health hazard, bacteria playground. Avoid it. Not value for money. I'm surprised it's allowed to run.
