Almada Story Apartments by Porto City Hosts

What a fantastic stay! Nice clean apartment, and excellent location. Nice building, very nice staircase. Very comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Everything was good.

A washing machine would be great, but there was a very low priced self-serve laundromat that was close by. The street can be pretty noisy at times . I got woken up by people yelling a couple of times, and a dumpster being hauled away at 7 a.m. but that has nothing to do with this wonderful apartment.

A great, charming apartment in a prime, central location. I was there for 9 days on foot. very clean, a large bathroom with a large shower, very good mattress and pillows, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine/dryer and lots of little gifts such as tabs for the dishwasher/washing machine, coffee, tea, bathing utensils. As I was there for longer than 1 week, there was also an intermediate cleaning service. I was there in February and the heating worked great. All in all, highly recommended. good value for money.

We loved the location. It’s close to many of the sites we wanted to visit and on a quiet street.

It would be better to have instructions for the coffeemaker and washing machine. The coffeemaker was so unfamiliar that we had to find YouTube videos to figure it out. The instructions for the washer/dryer basically said it was best to leave the instructions as is.

Beautiful apartment right in the heart of Porto! Location couldn't be better; lots of shops and great restaurants nearby, and you're walking distance to basically everywhere! Coffee machine, washer-dryer, everything we could need to cook etc, and a very comfortable bed! Would stay here again for a short or long stay!

Busy street outside with public bins and a bottle bank, so a little bit noisy at times which might not suit if you're a light sleeper, but for us it was worth it for the amazing location!

The location

The shower drain was blocked and there was back-flow from the blocked drain. The shower smelt sour. There was mould on the shower ceiling.

Location is perfect! Good value for money - easy to check in and out! The large bed was a bonus!

We fully enjoyed our stay! The hosts were amazing, super welcoming and helpful! The area is excellent for sightseeing, the apartment is great for 2 people. Easy check in & check out. Apartment was calm & not noisy (although located in a lively area), the beds & pillows were comfortable. The iron with ironing board was another plus, as well as the fully equipped kitchen. Would book again for sure! Nice & easy!
