The location, chalet, and everything provided were fantastic. They provided a nice selection of food for breakfast and there was a thoughtful gift of a bottle of their wine.

The accommodation and solitude, plus great food at the restaurant

Minor detail but the windows were not clean so the view was not as good as it could have been from inside.

The chalet was comfortable, modern, and was equipped with everything we could possibly need. The view was breathtaking, and all we heard was birdsong. Blissful!

I needed some assistance with my booking on arrival at 6 pm, and nobody was onsite to ask for assistance, despite me notifying them of my arrival time as per request. I had no idea which chalet I was booked in, and there were 2 left vacant for self check- in. Calling the number listed didn't help either as nobody answered. Very disappointing! There were dust bunnies under the bed and some mould in the shower but in general the chalet was fairly clean.

The chalets are beautifully situated by a lake. It was very peaceful and private.

On arrival there was no one around and I had not had any communication from Silkwood. I ended up calling the Perth office and the very helpful lady told us which chalet we were in and how to get in. We stayed in the Cabernet chalet. This chalet is in desperate need of a very good clean and some maintenance. The runner on a bench was grotty, the shower recess was mouldy, there were ants in the kitchen with a bull ant and cricket in the bathroom. The trees around the chalet were rubbing on the roof creating an annoying sound. The white blanket box at the end of the bed was stained and one of the robes had something on it that made it unusable. Finally the rubbish bin drawer was broken. None of these things on their own are a problem, but when you are paying $370 a night for a luxury property then it’s not good enough.

The setting is beautiful, so peaceful. The staff are great, the food is amazing the wine is delicious.

Breakfast basket was good except for the gluten free bread which was horrible. Nice situation next to the lake, comfortable and clean, quiet too.

The 4 chalets are very isolated so it was a bit quiet - great if that's what you're after. No restaurants nearby but the BBQ was good and it's easy to get food in Pemberton

Very well equipped

Sadly the winery was closed whilst we stayed so we’re unable to taste the wine or experience the restaurant. Try to make contact with a member of the team via the telephone number given but got no response.
