Eva Bay Hotel On The Beach - Adults Only

We have booked hundreds of accommodations through booking.com, but this was extremely disappointing. We even left one day before the check-out. This is definitely not a 4-star hotel. The only good points is that it is close to the sea and some of the people try to make you enjoy the staying, but they do not have the means for it. More details below.

There are so many elements which where very bad, below some of them: 1. Be aware of the rooms you are given at the reception, as some of them look terrible (sort of 2 star), we refused to stay in the assigned room and we had to fight to receive the room that we had actually booked. 2. Food is very low quality - ingredients seem very cheap, there is no free orange juice (remember we talk about a 4star hotel in Crete), the coffee is made with powder milk, the options for lunch are limited, overcooked pasta, artificial desserts, this makes such a dishonour to the super tasty Cretan cuisine. 3. Drinks and cocktails - super low-cost brands nobody heard of, you have to pay for any decent drink (like orange juice, Campari or Frappe - remember we are in Crete). They have low cost substitute for any spirit. 4. There is no water in the room, not even for welcome. There is some soda and probably tap water at the restaurant and bars. 5. There are no sufficient sun beds for the amount of people. You have to go early in the morning and occupy your seat, otherwise no chance. The space by the sea allocated to the hotel is very small and around the pool there are around 10 beds available. 6. The place is not duly taken care of. The passages towards the pool are not cleaned regularly. 7. Overall impression - it is such a low budget hotel that we are surprised that even qualifies for 4 stars. Crete is such a magical place and this hotel just ruins your vacation despite the very high cost (over 200 euro / night).

Breakfast awful Even the coffee was not good . We don’t speak about the orange juice .. percentage of orange below 5% .. very little choice . Ended spending all day in a bar at the beach nearby.

The place, sea view balcony.. the staff are so polite and welcoming. Restaurant 10/10 delicious and everything is fresh Amazing location definitely would recommend!

Drinks are not the best quality. If you prefer to have some fine wine or cocktail you cannot enjoy it here..
