Eva Bay Hotel On The Beach - Adults Only

Anlässlich unseres Hochzeitstags haben wir unseren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel verbracht und sind absolut begeistert. Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen. Das gesamte Personal war überaus freundlich, hilfsbereit und stets bemüht, unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Die Lage des Hotels ist ideal direkt an einem wunderschönen Strand, der sehr sauber und gut gepflegt war. Auch die Hotelanlage selbst ist sehr sauber, gepflegt und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Ein besonderes Lob möchten wir dem Küchenchef aussprechen: sehr professionell, freundlich und mit viel Liebe zum Detail bei der Zubereitung der Speisen. Das Essen war jeden Tag frisch, abwechslungsreich und einfach köstlich! Auch die Damen im Restaurant sowie an der Snackbar am Strand waren stets freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich. Unser Zimmer war sauber, gut ausgestattet und hatte einen wunderschönen Blick aufs Meer. Die Atmosphäre im Hotel war insgesamt sehr angenehm ruhig, entspannt und ideal zur Erholung. Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt perfekt wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Wir können dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und werden unseren nächsten Urlaub auf Kreta ganz sicher wieder dort verbringen!

Το ξενοδοχείο είναι καθαρό, ήσυχο και κυριολεκτικά πάνω στη θάλασσα. Το προσωπικό ήταν ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικό. Το φαγητό είχε ποικιλία και ήταν πάντα φρέσκο και νόστιμο. Ιδανικό μέρος για χαλάρωση και ξεκούραση. Θα το ξαναεπέλεγα χωρίς δεύτερη σκέψη!

Eva Bay was just what we were looking for — clean, comfy rooms, ultra helpful and friendly staff, and the beach just a few steps away. Breakfast had fresh options with a nice local touch, and everything felt easy and relaxing. Definitely a hidden gem in Rethymno — would come back in a heartbeat.

When we arrived at the hotel, they moved us because the room they had assigned us had a problem. The next day as soon as we returned the room they had assigned us, a smell was coming up from the drains, the air conditioning was not working, we stayed there for 3 days. On the 4th day they moved us to another better room, but the worst thing was that we could hear all the noises and at 5 o'clock I woke up. The blond girl at the reception did not help us much, thanks to the Spanish brunette girl who helped us a lot. Never mind the drinks, they can't make them ho too strong or they didn't taste like anything.. The food was very bad. The only thing I ate in the morning was brioches at lunch and dinner vegetables and meat. So much food tasted like nothing. Then it happened that they took your cutlery away immediately when you were at the buffet.. Maybe the staff should be rechecked and taught how to do their job.. Let's not talk about the lifeguard instead of doing his job like cleaning the pool from the weeds that were coming in, he was always at the bar being a jerk, turning up the volume of the radio and yelling.. Maybe he shouldn't be a lifeguard as a job, but a heckler. I certainly wouldn't recommend him to anyone

We had a fantastic short stay at Eva Bay in November. The weather was perfect! The hotel has a private beach with sunbeds and parasols, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The food was excellent, with a wide variety to choose from. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel and there's a good chance we’ll be back for a longer stay.
