American Inn and Suites

We liked the location of the property, and the owners were extremely nice and helpful. The AC worked amazing (it was 104 when we stayed) we loved the idea of 3 beds in the room. We didnt like the hole in the bottom of the door, big enough for roaches or even mice to come in. The whole room looks like it was never repaired fully from the area's last hurricane. The wifi didnt really work in the room and the breakfast was honey buns and cereal. Definitely not what we expected for an included breakfast. But again, SUPER nice owners. They helped try to fix the TV and were very accomodating.

Nice stay

The property was average. It was clean, there are chips in the bath tub and the bottom of the tub was so slick I slipped twice without injury. The soap used made the tub bottom even more slippery and dangerous.

Great place for a quick trip to POC, staff was great to work with and offer late checkout which is nice to come back and shower after a morning on the water. Only complaint is that the mosquitoes were so bad in the parking area.

Tv Didn't work. Room was musty and danky. When waking up in the am..the room felt wet..even some of our clothing felt wet. Not enough covers. Towels seemed old and worn out.

Property was good for location and convenient. Clean and comfortable. Will stay again when here fishing.

Love staying here, close to everything in POC. Quiet, good beds, good tv and wifi. Owners are great people!

This property is for the real man fishermen. It’s old but clean and basically has everything you need. Barebones but well equipped. Hubby would stay again.

It'll work for a place to lay your head. All furniture was either damaged or well-used/second hand. TV only worked on 1 channel. Wifi was good. The flooring was confusing; it had peaks and valleys that were very noticeable, and other areas were soft. The main door to the room had inch gaps wjere lighting got through and the air. This probable made the noise worse; you could hear everything going on outside, from conversations to crickets. Staff was friendly enough and the included breakfast was comparable to the typical hotel breakfast. Pricing was different from what was booked; kinda confusing. Overall, for a last minute trip, this olace was ok. Not sure I'd book in advance for a vacation.

it's a room, nothing fancy, old and run down, mattress was stained, bathroom floor felt as if it was going to collapse. Service was friendly.
