American Inn and Suites

This property needs to be remodeled asap. The smell of mold and mildew in the rooms was too much for us. I ended up having a really bad asthma attack, and we left early from our stay due to this. Pillow cases smelled like they hadn't been dried entirely. Stains on the bed sheets and pillows. Neighbors complained of the same issue. $220 was outrageous for this place. Just all around will never be staying here due to health reasons again. (and im not trying to be rude in any way, but this place is way out of means with health regulations)

No phone, hair dryer, or ironing board. The one I've machine was broken with a towel for a lid, the ice that it managed to make was melting at the bottom.

Affordable for a short weekend getaway with family

It was okay. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. At least neither one of us woke up with a backache . No Pool. Put Do Not Disturb sign on our door. We didn't need anything. Don't like people in my room.

Room was clean and ac blew cold. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good place to stay for the money.

Foreign owned motel, undergoing remodel, seemed to be a traveling-worker type lodging facility. Staff, nice, professional & friendly. Would stay again, though price seemed a bit high for what you got.

Convenient to boat ramps

Great price to be right there where the boats go out of Port O. Not a Four Seasons, but thankfully $1,200/night cheaper :) Nice manager/owner, stayed up past 1am to check me in. Would come back

The bathroom door wouldn’t shut price was right

Aged, declining property. Exposed/loose internet cable, no breakfast, broken light switch cover, malfunctioning furniture, and took long time to receive hot water at sink. This town is evidently low economy, very few places to stay or eat, none of them high quality.
