Headlands Coastal Lodge & Spa

This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at, between the hotel itself and the location on the coast with gorgeous views of the haystack rock. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a fireplace and a comfy couch and a huge, strong shower. Other hotels should come here and take note because this is the first place I've stayed in forever that had plenty of space in the bathroom to spread out toiletries. The spa, hot tub area, and restaurant were all beautiful and enjoyable. We live 3,000 miles away and are already thinking about when we might come back.

The room was nice but not almost 900.00 a night nice. We spent 3 days there and for the money it was a disappointment. Nothing special about the room. For the price we paid I expected a lot more. No special toiletries or snacks not even the special hot chocolate they had provided in our stay in the Spring when rooms were half the price. They only provided one bathrobe and no magnifying mirror in the bathroom. I did appreciate the bottle of champagne upon our arrival for our anniversary but they could have done so much more for what we paid. I was also a little upset when we went down to get our free drink at happy hour and was poured about 3 Tablespoons of wine because it was the end of the bottle I mean really for what we paid she should have opened another bottle. My husband did receive a full beer. We made reservations for all three nights at the restaurant and after the first dinner we canceled our other reservations and went to the Riverhouse and got way better food for 1/2 the price of the Lodge. The bartender at the Lodge did a great job with the cocktails they were balanced perfectly. The food nothing special at all in fact my dinner wasn’t even good…flavorless. My husbands steak was just ok. The view is spectacular but next time we will go across the street for 1/2 the price you still get the beautiful view and save 400 a night.

Everything was fantastic and the staff was very accommodating and friendly.

Outstanding views, loved being right on the beach. Excellent food and drinks served at the lodge restaurant and absolutely fantastic spa services. Only wish was that the bar was open later than 9pm, at least for room service, especially during the summer months when the sun doesn't set until then and it's nice to enjoy a drink on your room's balcony. In any case, we will definitely return.

The room was amazing, felt right at home. The entire hotel exudes a sense of welcome and peace. The sea views are great, we used the beach access quite a lot, the gym, hot tub and my husband used the steam room. we had breakfast twice and dinner twice in the hotel which was great as well. Highly recommend for a romantic getaway

The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Our adventure coach Chelsea was amazing with our kids as we did a tide pool exploration and the views/beach access from our hotel were unparalleled.

We spent a weekend at Headlands Coastal Lodge & Spa and had such a relaxing, wonderful stay. Our room was incredibly cozy and comfortable — the kind of place you just want to curl up and stay in. The view from our patio was stunning, looking right out over the coast, and it made for the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Speaking of coffee, we really appreciated the complimentary lobby coffee and other beverages — a small touch that made a big difference. The steam room and hot tub were both amazing and added to the overall sense of calm and rejuvenation. It’s also in a perfect spot with easy access to other great locations on the coast, so exploring nearby beaches and towns was super convenient. All in all, the perfect weekend getaway. Would absolutely return!
