Easy Reach

Perfect location. Very central for easy access to restaurants and shops yet still quiet. Parking space right outside the property door. We parked up the car on the drive and mainly used the bus and ferry services to get about. We didn't do any cooking but there seemed to be a reasonable selection of cooking utensils. Good reception and SKY TV in the living room area. Apartment is compact but comfortable and fine for a couple.

Bathroom set up it up like a wet room however most of the bathroom floor gets wet and slippery when the shower is used. For safety needed to dry the bathroom floor each time the shower was used. Grout in the floor and lower shower area grubby, a few cracked tiles and bathroom extractor fan does not work. Toilet also leaked while we were there but impressed at speed that maintenance man arrived and fixed this problem. Lack of hanging/drawer space for clothes. It was very hot weather when we stayed, a fan would have been appreciated. TV in the bedroom not watchable (poor signal?). Freezer box in fridge could not be closed properly probably due to volume of ice build up.

The apartment was central , had everything we needed for a short stay .

I think the property could do with a new bed / mattress and pillows . Its very soft . Apart from that the apartment was lovely and cosy .

The location was excellent. The TV choices very good and wi-fi worked well. On the whole the flat was very comfortable.

Firstly and foremost the description of the bed was inaccurate. It is NOT a large double bed, merely a standard 4 foot 6 inch bed. We would not have booked this property had this been correct. Whilst having a walk-in shower is a bonus the lack of an anti-slip rubber mat was worrying and somewhat dangerous.. In addition a decent wet room floor squeegee would have been more than useful to get the wet room/toilet area remotely dry after use. The mop provided was well past it's sell buy date! One of the bedside lamps was missing a bulb, which it having been left plugged in could have been considered life threatening. A bit of checking from the cleaners would not come amiss.

The bed was quite soft and could probably do with replacing
