Pupuke Manor Motel

Clean and spacious rooms, nice modern bathroom with fresh towels and linens. Kitchen had basic equipment for cooking and the location was peaceful. Across road from Woolies and a short walk to beach and town.

Location to supermarket and bus stop

Noise levels were high. Another resident / guest on the property was aggressive - played loud music all night, walked around outside other people’s units and was shouting. Apparently the person is known by police in the area. Nothing done about it so we left in the morning and never came back. We got no sleep all night due to the nonsense. Got our money back so we are grateful for that.

All of it. From the check in with rude staff, being given a code on a post it note as our "room key" highlighting the squallid condition of the room to staff and hearing the manage yell in chinese on loudspeaker, to the stray cats scratching at our door on the balcony. Black mould and used toiletries in the room on arrival. "Family bungalo" only had 1 small broken table with 2 wobbly chairs. Not enough plates, cups, cutlery etc for 4 people. The location itself looked like a crack den and the whole facility was poorly kept and didnt feel safe. I asked for a refund or better room and was spoken to rudely and refused. We left immediately and booked elsewhere, no way i could stay here with my children. Offered no refunds despite highlighting concerns. This place should be avoid at all costs.

It was very quiet. Good parking. The unit had all the basic cooking equipment needed.

It was listed as ground floor accessible but had four steps up to a landing.
