The location was good within walking distance of the town centre and both bays. The breakfast was excellent. John and Julie were very friendly and helpful.

The quilt on the bed was a summer weight quilt so was not warm enough for a winter night. There wasn’t a blanket.

Shower not very powerful and a few cob webs around the room which isn’t great. Also room we stayed in could do with an update

Warm reception on arrival. John took our order for breakfast and took us to our room. The house was warm and inviting and the room was clean and comfortable. We took our family back for drinks later and were hosted by John and Julie. Lovely atmosphere. Plenty of drinks to choose from and reasonably priced too. Breakfast was really good. All freshly made by John and served by Julie. It was a shame we were only staying for one night.

Good breakfasts

I could not sleep for traffic noise. Finally discovered thAt my window, hidden behind a net curtain, was slightly open. I had definitely not opened it.

Booked for two couples after reading the lovely reviews as we needed somewhere to stay whilst attending a funeral. Rooms are spotless with everything you need and breakfast was excellent. John and Julie went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you for your kindness.
