Good location for Ampi theatre as attending a concert

Rooms were not fit for purpose no hairdryer no hand towels or bath mat no where to put your toiletries shower tiny and dirty kettle located on opposite side of room as no plug no fire escape information and absolutely no information whatsoever on anything breakfast was slop absolutely terrible and had to wait ages for it glasses were dirty no serviettes available very limited on hot drinks and cereal and when we were shown our room I asked if there was any food later on and the lady said she wasn't sure 🤷

The staff were lovely ,the location was very nice,the room was clean and comfortable

The carpet in the corridors was disgusting ,it was so dirty that it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years .There were only 3 bath towels in the room-no face or hand towels,which I thought was odd .There was only white bread for toast ,2 types of cereal and juice ,no option for a cappuccino or any other coffee ,except the sachets.I emailed them 2 days before to ask if the have an EV charger and they never responded.There is no EV charger there

Room in major need of refurbishment For the price paid expected a lot more Large holes in the wall, carpet was rippled so bad that it was a trip hazard Furniture dirty/stained, chipped Was advertised as a King Size room and was a double bed Stairs up to the room smelled of urine and carpet dirty and stained

The breakfast was delicious, filling and perfect temperature. It was easy to make modifications to it to suit personal preferences. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was spacious, comfortable and just what we needed after a night on our feet at a concert. The food at the restaurant was also perfect, filling, warm and came out quickly.

we were shown to our room batteries did not work in the tv remote but they was replaced promptly windows open making the room cool and airy clean bathroom with complimentary toiletries and soft fluffy towels tea and coffee making facilities with complimentary biscuits comfy bed and pillows, a good nights sleep friendly staff catered for gluten free diet requirements, fresh home cooked breakfast great location with free parking, a steady ten to fifteen minutes walk to the open air theatre

the stairs and landing was a little bit tired on first impressions, however this did not affect our stay

Carpets on stairs coming off ,given 1 toilet roll for a family room,wasn’t asked what would like for breakfast everyone got the same & the service was poor,dirty tea/coffee cups

The location was great. We were going to the open air theatre and it was only a 10 minute walk

The room was spacious, but had no wardrobe, no hand towel, no remote control for the tv, the bed was held up by a tin of paint and silicon foam. The inside of the drawers had coffee stains in them and there were earwigs running about. The room was also very smelly. The chef had been sacked the day before so although the manager did his best he didn’t explain what was going on so people were sat waiting over 30 minutes until I went into the kitchen to find out what was going on.

The location to where we wanted to be was good

The hotel was dirty throughout, carpet leading up the stairs was filthy, and loose in places, On arrival went to use the toilet in the room, someone had used without flushing. Breakfast took a long while to arrive , only one staff member on to cook and serve at least 10 people that we saw, did nit ask what we wanted , just placed a full English in front of each person, no asking about allergies. Breakfast was not great but was reasonably edible. DEFI ETLY NOT VALUE FOR MONEY.!!!!

Nothing everything was great

The location was perfect for visiting the open air theatre or the beach. The room was a decent size with a large bathroom and modern large shower. It’s had a pleasant beer garden.

I didn’t like that despite being overnight residents we were unable to get an evening meal. On checking in we asked about reserving a table for an evening meal and were told providing we came downstairs before 6:30 It wouldn’t be a problem. We turned up at 5:45 queued for about 20 minutes and then told the kitchen was closing with no explanation. Breakfast was like faulty towers. No tables set in any dedicated area. We had to hunt down crockery and cutlery. Had to request milk for cereals; but only 1 full carton was brought out and was snatched up by 2 other guests who took it to their table. Only 3 cereal bowls had been put out but around 16 people came for breakfast. One jug of weak diluted orange juice which ran out almost straightaway and wasn’t replaced and one apple juice. The landlord had forgotten to put water in the water boiler so didn’t even get a hot drink. We weren’t asked what we’d like for our breakfast we were just presented with one slice of bacon, one fried egg one hash brown, beans, tinned tomatoes and one toast. Also no requests as to what type of egg you got or offered any alternatives to the fried breakfast. No food allergies or vegetarian enquiries by the host. It was so bad, it was funny - all the guests were laughing about the situation. Although our room was ok the staircase and landing were filthy and really smelly. Some of the stair treads had come away and the resulting loose carpet was really dangerous. There was a hoover dangerously placed on the top stair. Our friends room was large, but didn’t have a single mirror, chair or dressing table and there was a tin of paint underneath the bed holding it up as most of the wooden supports were broken. The landlord repeatedly swore in practically every sentence, which although our group weren’t overly offended by swearing, there is a time and a place where you might expect it and that’s not during check in and during breakfast by your host.
