Palais Hongran de Fiana

This is a really lovely and spacious apartment right in the heart of Nice. The building itself is beautiful and well preserved and the apartment had everything we needed for a great stay in Nice! The host was very helpful and responsive.

Owing to its fantastic location, it can be quite noisy on the street outside until quite late at night (although we were there on a weekend) so if you’re a light sleeper bring earplugs.

Location in the middle of Nice is perfect for touring the city and vinicity.

Nice if you travel by bus within the city it's not straight forward to find bus stations and right busses.

Hind was super kind and helpful. The location is perfect. The historic building is spectacular.

All was great.

No breakfast was available as this was an apartment. I loved seeing & hearing the ocean waves. A wonderful way to fall asleep & wake up! We also loved the charming elevator. This is a historic place to stay. I learned Bonaparte lived on top floor with his troops at one time.

Washing machine that rinsed water out of clothing. There was a drying rack but clothes were so wet bath towels were needed for dripping water from washed clothes.

Hind was extremely kind, made our stay great! Would recommend sleeping masks as the curtains let in quite a bit of light.

Its location was fantastic with a lovely room although no balcony it had wonderful large windows overlooking the hustle and bustle of the outdoor market everyday including Christmas Day .

Towels very dated and not changed

The location is fantastic. Beside the Flower Market & 2 minutes from the Promenade des Anglais.

No complaints

Fantastic, vibrant location in the old town and on the seafront. The property is a wonderful historic building with lots of character. There are a multitude of restaurants and the flower market just outside the main front door. There is a great view of the seafront while standing at the windows.

We were in the Matisse Apartment in the attic on the fifth floor. The lift goes to the fourth floor and steep stairs are then climbed to the fifth floor. This apartment is not in the same league as those pictured on lower floors. Our apartment in the attic space felt like a storage room for old furniture and functionless objects. Some of which smelt very bad. The acrid smell transferred to some of my belongings. The kitchen area works well and the bathroom was adequate. There is no comfortable seating in the living area, ie. a couch. The bedroom was cramped with a standard double bed and no space to walk around it despite the size of the apartment. The bedroom mirror was cloudy with age. The space could be transformed with a bit of thought.

It is beautiful and spacious. The view from the balcony is right out to the beach. The kitchen and bathroom and well fitted out - even though we didn’t use the kitchen facilities much, I was impressed that everything was there. Loved the styling of the whole place from furniture to decor.

It is a little noisy. You can hear garbage trucks in the morning from the street outside. It didn’t really bother us but you couldn’t sleep with the doors or windows open because it was more noisy in the bedroom
