The view was gorgeous, the dinner at their restaurant was delicious, the rooms were cozy and decorated nicely, the towels in the bathroom were thick, and the morning cappuccino was great, the town itself so charming …overall highly recommend.

Initially lacked in communication, I did have questions regarding the steps and accessibility but the day before we arrived had very good communication with sara. My husband has MS and walking is a bit of an issue..fyi, steps are challenging but he did it!

The host Sara is what made it for us. She is delightful and informative. Her tips and help and beautiful personality made this stay perfect. The information for planning days was fantastic. She is the best. I would never stay anywhere else and only here.

New and clean room in a good location in this very pretty village right in the centre of the Cinque Terre

Not a proper breakfast which was such a shame as it feels like the restaurant just below/to the side could easily provide it. Everything is small in the Cinque Terre so expect small rooms.

Casa Cató was a charming, boutique hotel. It was comfortable and clean and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. You can't beat the view of Vernazza from the balcony!

It is directly above the train station so can be loud at night as announcements are made and trains go by. Nothing earplugs can't solve though!

View from our balcony was amazing! Lorena (guest relations) was very friendly and helpful.

Pictures on Booking were not representative of the room we had. Pics make the rooms look reasonably sized. Ours was very little. Two people couldn't pass on the sides of the bed, and barely at the foot of the bed. The bathroom was equally tiny - about 6'x6'. Also, TV didn't work when we arrived. The owner (Lisa) came and got it to work, but was obviously upset that she had to leave the kitchen to do this. Very short and unwelcoming.
