Casa Catò

Beliggenheten er utmerket, nydelig utsikt fra rommet og fra hotellets restaurant. Rommet er svært hyggelig, rent og badet er nytt og pent. Menneskene som jobber der er hyggelig og hjelpsom. Støy fra jernbanen høres godt, men det er en del av livet og lyden av Vernazza. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake til akkurat dette hotellet!

Great location…close to the train station, the harbor, the Cinque Terre trail system. It’s pretty steep getting up to the property and we have big bags as this was part of a 2.5 week trip.

The power went out one night and the gate was locked in the morning to get out of the hotel. I had to get on a tall chair to climb over the fence to then open the gate. Scary if there was a fire.

The view from balcony was beautiful.

Bed bugs!! We were not able to meet with host prior to leaving property as we left early to get a train. My husband was covered with bites all over hand, neck, arm and thigh from one of the pillows . I messaged the property and the response from Sara was I’m sorry. I messaged again about how awful this experience has been and we received no response. 5 days later still welts. Our Trip in Vernazza and Florence was ruined. We expected more considering the wonderful reviews

Zimmer und Aussicht

Lärm von Zug und Disco der Stadt. Harte Betten und Kissen. Ungeduldiges Personal im Restaurant. Weil wir warten mussten wollten wir dann wir nur ein Dessert, was nicht ging. Wir mussten ein Menu bestellen.

The location up in the hillside gives us a perfect view over Vernazza. We slept with our balcony doors open every night and had a gorgeous view of the village down to the water. What a lovely hotel.

The view is exceptional and Lorena is wonderful. She served us coffee and cake every morning as well as answering all of our questions. Lorena will help plan your activities for the day and assist with trek tickets and reservations. This was our second stay at Casa Cato and I hope to return again sometime soon.

Nice and cozy room with a large and modern bathroom. Small balcony with a stunning view over the city and the sea. Very nice and friendly staff.

There is nothing to dislike, but there are some stairs to climb up so if you have problems with knees or hips you might consider something else. We found it useful for the trip to pack everything in backpacks and not suitcases.
