Room very small, not quite enough room for our suitcases

Amazing location with a great view, great restaurant on site and lovely hosts who help you with everything every morning (in addition to comolimentary coffee and cake)

Stunning view over the town and harbour. Lovely little terrace and although no breakfast we were invited for morning coffee and cake which was great.

Widok z okna, ale z uwagi na stację kolejową pod oknem trudno było delektować się tym widokiem na maluteńkim balkonie lub otwartym oknem.

Bardzo mały apartament, malutki balkon. Jednak najgorszy dla nas był hałas od stacji kolejowej zlokalizowanej tuż pod oknem. Zapowiedzi pociągów i hałas od hamujących /przyjeżdżających. Bez stoperów do uszu, nie byłabym w stanie spać. Poza tym cena ogromna jak na taki standard i lokalizację.

The accommodation is perfectly located for the hiking trails, and has a wonderful view to both wake up to and appreciate over a cold drink on the balcony at the end of the day. The room was very comfortable and well equipped, with a kettle, small fridge (that didn't buzz in the night) and hairdryer. The hosts were very helpful, welcoming me with breakfast despite it not being part of the booking, and giving good advice on the hiking trails and which was the best Cinque Terre ticket to buy depending on likely use of the train. The ticket is discounted if you are staying in one of the towns so worth taking up the offer of buying it at the accommodation. The hosts went above and beyond by actually videoing their walk from the train station to the accommodation. Unfortunately for me, it was sent too late for me to appreciate it as, while I was travelling there, the train had no WiFi and went through many tunnels, so I wasn't able to download the file. The property also runs a fish restaurant so, if you can't face the steps down to the main street at lunch or dinnertime, you can have a tasty meal looking out to sea.

Paradise was noisy! The train station is right below the accommodation, with constant announcements, trains arriving or passing through, and the chatter of happy passengers. The frequency of trains diminished and the volume of the tannoy reduced later in the evening, so my sleep wasn't actually disturbed. The bathroom was stocked with earplugs too. I should say I would happily stay at Casa Cató again.

The property may want add an additional curtain for extra darkness on the front door (just to help with sleep) It was a little bright in the room early morning, but the room was fabulous!

Loved the location and it is right on the trail. Has a small restaurant with views of the ocean and sunset. They were very friendly and helpful.

Der kleine Balkon mit einem sagenhaften Blick über den Ort aufs Meer und die Sonnenuntergänge
