Silver Sands

Honestly, the property was just okay. My kids got ate up by some bug on the fold out couch. There were actually bugs all in the place. Something that looked like a little black bee and then roaches if you turned on the light. It looks like this was a flipper property and a lot of the place is held together with caulk. Shower curtain was too short so everytime you took a shower, water would come out and go down a well worn hole in the caulk. The bathroom floor is squeaky too, so I imagine it's all rotted up. The front and back doors you can see daylight around the edges because the weather strip needs to be replaced (might be the bug issue). Communication was poor. Received the wrong key combination twice. Also received information that there was no assigned parking, which there was. A property manager came to our door asking us to move, I did let her know about the emails we've been receiving, but she essentially blamed it all on a third party. It is nice and spacious. Decent place for a family of 4 or 5 (with kids). Beach walk isn't that bad and you can walk down to Johns pass. I don't think it's worth the 600ish we paid for 2 days stay. I would definitely look elsewhere.

Easy access to beach across the street and John’s Pass

Absolutely the best! Space was clean and better than described! Communication was phenomenal and it made our Father’s Day surprise perfect! The accommodations were great, full kitchen perfect for long weekend, private parking, first floor unit was great and faced courtyard!.Will definitely go back and recommend highly!

We really enjoyed our stay, the room was very comfortable and clean. We did not like the fact that our room was on the second floor as the site does not mention this. We also did not like that we could not have guests as there is no parking, again not mentioned on the site. The walk to Johns Pass states it's 12 minute walk, it is definitely at least a 20 minute walk. Ending on a good note the other guests and staff were very pleasant and helpful when we had questions. We would stay there again as it was very clean!

Clean and quite. Central location.

Place is really cute. It was clean, quiet and an easy walk to the beach. We loved that we were able to bring our dog, but there really isn’t a place to walk the dog to do their business. Only annoyance was another guest who stayed by the pool area. They left their door wide open while playing loud music. We were thankful our place wasn’t close to theirs. That would have completely ruined our stay.

Thank you again to silver sand staff for all your effort to make our stay excellent we really love the place. The staff very kind every time i called i received respond very quickly all my questions answered, the location very convenient to go to the beach ,swimming pool fishing and much more ,the room and all areas clean .me and my family very Happy to spend our Memorial weekend get away there .planning already to go back again.

Silver Sands was great! Clean room, comfortable beds and everything you needed was there. Beach is across the street and down a wooden boardwalk. Johns pass is a short walk over the bridge. Cranny’s restaurant was so good. This is our second time staying there and probably won’t be our last.

Had a great visit. Walking distance to many places and Johns Pass. The beach is one block across the street. Very clean. Small Florida ant issue which is common everywhere. Clean floors and new appliances. Very cute complex. We wish we could have stayed another night, but I was late to the game and they were full vacancy.

The bathroom was disgusting. There was hairs on the toilet, and the shower was full of sand. The bathroom sink would not drain. We had to use the kitchen sink to brush our teeth. The property was nice but inside the room we just dirty and old.
