SanMartinoOrtigia Apartments

We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is in a fantastic location, making it easy to explore Syracuse on foot. Having a full kitchen was very convenient, and the bed was comfortable. The space itself felt welcoming and had what we needed for our trip.

There were a couple of things that could be improved: we did come across a cockroach in our apartment, and when we ran out of toilet paper, we sent a message but didn’t receive a response, so we purchased our own. Overall though, this was a good stay with lots of positives — a comfortable apartment in an excellent location. With a few small improvements, it could easily be a 5-star experience.

We thought it would be relatively quiet as there were no restaurants on the street, but there were very noisy glass recycling collections in the middle of the night, every night that woke us up. Appreciate the glass needs to be recycled.

Cute Sicilian apartment in the heart of Ortiga and very close to a lovely pebble beach. Excellent host, very responsive and kind. Ideal for couples, could be challenging with kids.

There was a strong unpleasant drain smell in the kitchen, sometimes in the bathroom too. Shower area needs a good clean
