SanMartinoOrtigia Apartments

Very well placed in downtown Ortigia, in a quiet street but with best access to sites - and sea, with bathing, close on both sides. The apartment has style, and is generally well provided. Excellent for our two day stay.

Location, easy to find and navigate from, the kitchen had all the essentials, everything worked well.

We love Siracusa, especially Ortigia, so when we found an apartment right in the heart of Ortigia we jumped at the chance to stay. We enjoyed every moment of our time at San Martino Apartments. Mariella made sure we had all of the information we needed to enter the apartment, and from then on we felt at home. My husband loves to cook, especially using fresh fish from the nearby market, and so he was very pleased to discover how well-equipped the kitchen is. The area is quiet, the bed very comfortable, and we slept very well. We felt very relaxed during our stay. We were also pleased to find some excellent restaurants nearby: the two we would particularly recommend to other visitors are Osteria da Mariano and La Locandiera di Palazzo Bellomo. We highly recommend San Martino Apartments, and can't wait until our next visit.

The apartments were comfortable and well decorated, making it a perfect retreat after a long day of exploring. The location was also fantastic, with easy access to local attractions and amenities. Our host was exceptionally accommodating and made our stay enjoyable. She recommended some great beaches and restaurants that truly enhanced our trip. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a lovely getaway!

What a perfect place to be located in Ortigia. Central but so quiet and very close to good restaurants and all the amazing sights. Mariella was super responsive and so kind to us. On the day of our checkout we were hit with a red warning storm and a deluge of rain. As there were fortunately no new guests arriving,she allowed us to stay until the storm had passed by. We were able to stay cosy and dry inside. Forever grateful thank you Mariella! Parking was a few minutes drive away and easily accessible by taking the circular red bus (for 3 Euros) that stopped right on our street corner.

Mariella is an excellent host who has developed a foolproof method of accessing the apartment. She was always available to asist her guests and always promptly replied. The apartment is located close to everything - restaurants, bars, attractions. It was clean, spacious and well-appointed.

Nothing. Prospective guests should be aware that taxis are not permitted to enter the street. They will drop you around the corner, a short walk (less than 50m) away. It did not present a problem for us.

The apartment was beautiful and well located walking distance to everywhere. Host was lovely we had issue unlocking door and drove into Ortigia to help us. Also organised taxi back to train station on departure, greatly appreciated.
