White's City Cavern Inn

This was the 5th time we have stayed at this property.it was a regular 10 night vacation for my family every stay always loved and looked forward to booking .but unfortunately this was the last.this time I brought my entire family to enjoy.we checked in on the 7th when we arrived everything was down spash pad slides.i asked why when we booked months in advance that Noone could pick up the phone and let us know.no answer just attitude so it is what it is. I let it go.then we got to the pool and oh boy.dead birds rotting on the pool deck.bird feces covering absolutely everything.so we didn't use anything we paid 1400$ for. i asked the front desk to have someone remove the dead birds again got attitude and then Noone got them so the next evening I asked again.then all he$$ broke loose the owners brother that picks up trash in his golf cart came into the pool area and squared up with me in front of my kids my brothers kids and told us if we where gonna complain we could get the fk out and we needed to get out.and I'm not getting my money back we could sue them.then he proceeded to tell us that the splash pad was shut down by the health inspector as well as the black slide and the pool was in violation for bad water quality.big surprise.over all a horrible experience.valorie was amazing unfortunately she was off when this $hit happened she's who we always deal with.

Staff was awesome when we arrived we found out the water slide is only open on weekends… wish the website would have information about that… kids were very disappointed..:(

Beautiful location and perfect location for the caverns. Rooms comfortable and spacious.

This is a good place to stay when visiting Carlsbad Caverns. I was pretty disappointed the pool wasn’t available to use. It’s a really hot area and seeing the pirate area locked up and full of water was really disheartening.

Great for the price. Landscaping a little lax.

If you're looking for location to Carlsbad Caverns, this is it! Not the best first impression, it definitely could use some cleaning outside but the room was ok. Not 5☆ but great price! Most definitely fine for a night because of its proximity to the park entrance! If the restaurant next door isn't open, prepare to drive into Carlsbad for anything to eat (about 25 min.) You'll have plenty to choose from there!

Rooms are large and immaculate. The property is conveniently located at Carlsbad Caverns park entrance.

No restaurants in town and the breakfast did not have any hot food. Overall would stay again for location alone. Great tailed grackles are LOUD in the morning.

Whites was nice and clean and the room was spacious, nothing fancy but spacious and clean. The location was close to our destination-Carlsbad Cavern. Front desk women were super friendly.
