The heating system was not working properly. I wish that they can keep some good coffee and some milk for guests

We stayed here for almost a week over Christmas and loved every moment. Everything here was traditional and full of character, with wooden beams and authentic tiles and a private garden. We were a party of four adults so booked two apartments, and both were unique, clean, and had good facilities. Our host Isabel was also lovely and did so much for us. She met us for when we arrived to hand over the keys and tell us about the local attractions. She even booked us a taxi on the last day when our taxi app messed up! We originally picked Carmen de Ramilla for the location - it is close to the city center, but our whole stay was lovely and quiet being nestled in the Albaicin. We walked down the Paseo de los Tristes from the apartments easily, and the Mirador de San Nicolás was only around the corner. All of the monasteries and the Alhambra were a very short bus ride away. We would definitely book these apartments again and feel like staying here made our holiday all the more special!

I fell in love with this place. Everything is so beautiful and thoughtfully designed to showcase Andalusian hospitality and welcoming character. Isabel, the host, was super friendly, and we had great communication with her. I would always stay here again!

A great location. Old house with its ancient aura. Comfortable room. Cozy garden. Very helpful host Isabel, she helped us with useful information as a local guide. The stay was a very good experience.

A really beautiful place to relax. The garden was an added bonus and the seating area was gorgeous. So many original features with lots of comfort.

The garden and pool area are very beautiful and a welcome retreat from the heat of the afternoon sun…this is an authentic Spanish property but with the comforts of home… very spacious and well appointed… we loved our stay here. Isabelle is a great host and recommended an excellent flamenco show near the property which we enjoyed. Lots of great eateries etc close by including a supermarket and cash machine.

The only thing that I would comment on as could be improved was lack of light in the bathroom.

Its the most beautiful little Carmen in the Albaicin!! Everything was so picturesque and perfect. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, clean and fully equipped with a kitchen, and the garden with the pool was lovely to lounge in during the afternoon. Isabel was great and communicative, and was there to welcome us when we arrived.

While the residence is blessed by being situated nearly at the top of the Albaicin, if you're going down to the main city or to the Alhambra it's a long climb to the top afterwards (especially on the cobblestones!). That said, there is a bus line that goes almost directly to the residence, if you're not in the mood for a hike.

Superb location in heart of old town. Don't be afraid of parking as Isabella has that covered. Quiet oasis, unless you open the front windows which we did because we loved listening to the people outside. Good room, good shower, good bed.
