Los Olivos Beach Resort

We stayed for 5 night's from the 01st March to 06th March. What a lovely hotel this is, the staff are all great and very welcoming, all the staff here will help and asist you with whatever you need whether it's a taxi to go out or local information. The hotel is clean and tidy throughout with a lovely atmosphere. We used their sky bar and beds for a day and it turned out to be great value with 20 euros back in credit, and the infanity pool is a nice place to chill out and relax especially on a hot day. The food ( we only had the breakfast ) is very tasty and plenty of choice. We did use the pool bar and grab a sandwich which again was very tasty and you can tell all the food is cooked fresh. The location is ideal just a couple minutes walk to all the bars and restaurants and only 5/10 minute walk to the local shopping centre. The room was spacious enough for two people and was also very clean with everything you need, kettle, coffee machine, iron, microwave and a double hob/hotplate. With the hotel being located just behind all the bars and restaurants the noise level at night is no issue, you will get a bit of road noise and people talking late at night if your room is on the side of the road. I'm not a Tenerife person myself however I will defently return to this hotel, next for a little bit longer.

I would just like to thank everyone at Los Olivos for a great holiday,we have stayed 30th Jan to 27th Feb. A special mention to Chantelle and her team in the Sky Bar where we spent most of day time hours there,had some lovely meals,BBQ on a Friday highly recommended by Chef Angel who's a lovely guy,once again thanks everyone Regards David and Lesley Watts Room 2079 😘😘😘

We've just finished a 3 week stay at Los Olivos from day 1 our stay was excellent, the reception team were excellent, Carlos was very attentive with my wife as she had a problem with her foot, he's a real credit to the business. We had an issue with the electrics in the room it was dealt with immediately. The room was great, breakfast was very good and margaritas terrace is a must visit it's excellent along with the bar team. We'll be back next year thank you for a memorable holiday.

Excellent hotel with very good breakfast. The rooftop bar is probably the best in Adeje. Great views and very well maintained grounds. Down side was the sporadic cleaning of rooms and changing of towels, which we were told was down to staff shortages (which is an island wide problem). Otherwise this review would have been a 5. Also one member of staff on reception can be quite rude and gives the hotel some of the bad reviews on here. Mostly the staff are excellent throughout the hotel. We booked the rooftop bar for a birthday celebration which was amazing!

On our arrival we met a very rude male receptionist. We were given a room right at the top of the complex looking out on the main road. When we entered our room (studio) it smelt like someone had been cooking chips, the floor and surfaces were dirty and had clearly not been cleaned. The back patio area was dirt and weeds and had piles of cats poo on it . They had even put a sun lounger bed on it expecting us to sunbathe! These rooms are very tired and need refurbishing. We did complain and asked to be moved but apparently there were no other rooms available! Because of our experience we will never stay here again.

Overall a good hotel - facilities, cleanliness, staff, food all good. The only negative we had here was with another guest's behaviour which I feel should have been addressed by the manager. There was this man who wore a really ill fitting, ridiculous looking wig. Every day at breakfast he would take all of the boiled eggs (about 15) and not leave any for the other guests. What annoyed me is that the staff did not say anything to him. 3 days in a row I tried to get an egg, just 1, but failed. When glancing around the room there sat the man in the wig with two bowls full of boiled eggs. Shocking behaviour.

Not really a fault of the hotel but an inconsiderate guest, however I think it should have been policed. During my stay there was this big chap who was wearing a terrible looking wig, everyday he would take away all of the boiled eggs and leave none for anyone else. He took about 15 at a time. Lovely hotel and facilities, great location. Staff were friendly and food decent can't comment on the boiled eggs as I didn't get a look in.
