"Room was lovely. Food and staff were fab!"

Very clean room and comfy pillows and bed.

Only issue we had was with the ‘neighbours’ next door. Walls are quite thin and neighbours had a very early start to their day 4:30am so did disrupt us. But that is no fault of the owners.

Good sized room. Lovely & warm. Plenty of free parking. Good breakfast

Our room really does need double glazing to reduce road noise ( which is surprisingly busy overnight). Tiny TV!

The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble

The noise from the room above, very squeaky floor boards and noisy plumbing. Sounded like they were doing construction above us

"Fabulous stop in the Forest of Dean"

Lovely room, good location for exploring Forest of Dean, and across into Wales. Fantastic food, and especially good to see a variety for vegetarians and vegans. Staff all lovely and attentive, and would definitely return.

Only one quibble there was an unknown droning hum in our room on and off. Did report on leaving, so hopefully the can work out what it is.

Fabulous pub, room very spacious, staff very friendly

The room really needs cleaning and demoulding. A lot of dust and felt very damp
