"Very Good"

The location was great, room nice. Good amount of parking. Breakfast was nice.

Staff could be friendlier, a few cobwebs around the windows. TV small for the room.

"Its a shame our stay was spoiled by the people in the adjacent room."

Staff really lovely. The pub and the meal at night and breakfast really good.

Unfortunately we were woken at 3am in the morning by the tv in the adjacent room being turned on. It was so loud and they kept it on for two hours, it just totally ruined our nights sleep. There is no soundproofing at all between the rooms.

What a lovely place this is to stay. Location is perfect to explore the area and very near Lydney station. The hosts couldn’t have been more helpful, offering to run us to station ( going to Cheltenham races) gave us 2 lovely rooms and all very clean and stocked with toiletries and tea/coffee. The breakfast was the best and our stay was very good value for what we had. We also ate in the George and good pub food at reasonable prices with lovely deserts and a great atmosphere in the pub. Thank you was wonderful

The staff were amazing and food delicious !! What a pleasure it was to meet such genuine hosts and staff ! Food was truly delicious and so fresh . Rooms were comfortable and loved our stay
