Hotel Casa de Familia de San Cristobal

Estupendo lugar. Todo el personal te atiende con mucha amabilidad y el hotel es muy bonito y muy bien ubicado.

Beautiful, clean, comfortable, and room with old world decor and details, in a beautiful, secure building. There is a nice garden outside and balconies outside the guest rooms facing the inside atrium. Hotel is in a safe area in the middle of town, walking distance to most tourist sites of interest and to shops and restaurants. Staff was very professional, courteous, and accommodated our requests. Our room had only one window and no air circulating so when we arrived, we were hot in the room. The front desk staff brought us an electric fan and fixed our our problem. The housekeeper got our laundry done very nicely and very quickly for $100 MXP. Complimentary private parking for our vehicle was available. Smart TV in the room was nice to have. We did not have Wifi, however, as the hotel advertised. If it was available, we could not connect to it. We checked one day early because of it, but were not given a refund. The hotel told Expedia CS that we stayed for the duration of our reservation, which is not true.

We had an amazing stay as Casa de Familia! The hotel was beautiful, elegant, quiet and conveniently located. We would recommend it to anyone and stay there again if we came back to San Cristobal!

Overall, as a solo female traveler, I enjoyed my stay. Pros: cozy, beautiful, quiet, clean, and safe hotel (front door is always locked so you ring a bell and receptionist gets you in), and decent location (2-3 blocks away from the main pedestrian streets). Cons: hotel’s restaurant was supposed to be open only for breakfast, but most days was not open at all; walls in the rooms upstairs are thin so you can hear neighbors talking, showering, drying hair; there was no air conditioning in my room and while I didn’t really need (wasn’t too hot), I thought it’d be something good to have; wifi in the room was so slow to the point where it basically didn’t work and I used my data

Best find of the trip! Small hotel with all the amenities. Beautiful and renovated architecture that looks just like the house in the movie Encanto :) Staff was very friendly and attentive! I hope I will be staying there again if I go to San Cristobal!

We stayed here in July and again in March. Beautiful hotel and service was excellent I’m July and average in March. Good location. Internet wasn’t the best and had trouble accessing Netflix, but the staff was kind enough to move us to another room. I would stay here again.

Excelente hotel localizado en el corazon de san cristobal. Todo los sitios de interes turisticos muy accesibles a pie. Hay un sin fin de restaurantes en la vecinidad. Cuenta con estacionamento seguro y privado, solo hay que avisar al llegar para que te abran el porton. El hotel es una haciendo restaurada que parece mas hotel de lujo que una vieja casona. Hay muchos hoteles en san cristobal pero yo considedaria este la mejor opcion por la experiencia que ofrece y su hubicacion.

Amazing, excellent quality, former family hacienda transformed into a gorgeous hotel decorated with beautiful, original furnishings. Within close walking distance to the town plaza, shopping, eateries, and historic buildings.
