Gratton Grange Farm B&B

My review is based on a non-stay experience. I needed to change the date of my booking. It was very difficult to get in contact , no one to answer the property's given mobile number - I understand the host must have been busy. Then I was advised to get in contact via Hotels.com whose agents also had difficulty getting in contact with the host the issue retained unresolved.

It was ruff ride getting to location ,beautiful seasoning clean room but some cobwebs. Didn't like the paper cups and plates for breakfast too thought getting English breakfast and got croissant. The owner just showered us to room no conversation at all or help for advice..

We spent really good time. The hostesse is very kind and friendly, highly recommend. It's an ideal journey if you love the nature in midle of nowhere. Nearest pub is 45 minutes walk and they have taxi services as well for which you need cash. No internet connection, but didn't missed too much.

Had a wonderful stay here. Room was perfect and couldn't have asked for a nicer location or better hosts. Highly recommended

Very accommodating hosts, but they also respected guests' privacy; A wonderful continental style breakfast, with just about everything you could think of! Excellent location for walkers.

Great room with lovely views over farmland and wild hills. The farm buildings were of historical interest - the cruck frame indicates a much earlier date than the 18th century exterior. Comfortable beds and spotless bathroom. Vicky was a delightful host and we enjoyed our brief stay on a family farm. The lambs and assorted poutry were a bonus!

Clean, comfortable room. Farm located near lots of good walking routes. Very beautiful, very peaceful.

Wanted a couple of relaxing days away - certainly fitted the bill staying on a working farm. No fuss - simple and easy check in and diy breakfast buffet. Surrounded by fields and animals - a great place to get away from it all but still close enough to the main towns like Bakewell.

Beautiful, countryside B&B set on a working farm within the peak district. Set within a peaceful area only a short driving distance from many of the peak districts several wonders. Room was cosy yet spacious and the bathroom featured both a bath and shower.
