Hinsley Hall

One of my favourite places to stay in Leeds. Green, leafy Headingly is a great area to stay in. The building is wonderful with beautiful grounds. The accomodation is fairly basic but comfortable and clean. I would still pick this venue over hotels with more amenities because it's simply lovely. Plus free parking, a generous cooked, buffet breakfast and bus stop right outside with a direct route to the city centre.

There's nothing not to like but some people may want more amenities. Hot drinks are available from a kitchenette along the corridor, televisions are small, no a/c etc. My television was mounted high up on the wall above the wardrobe! (Glad I wasn't watching something with subtitles or I may have needed binoculars 😉) However, I would still choose Hinsley Hall over other options for a clean, comfy room, lovely staff, windows you can actually open and the beautiful gardens outside.

The hotel is very pleasant, the building and grounds are great, the staff were helpful.

Their was no breakfast as advertised.

Was very quiet and pleasant.

The bed was a little uncomfortable and it was warm and still in the room.

The whole experience is easy - great location, easy parking, wonderful building and friendly staff. Oh, and a great breakfast.

Bed isn't that comfy, and rooms aren't very modern - although that's expected, and it's still great value for what I paid for the night.

Not clear on description that the hotel was a Catholic run religious outreach centre

Very quiet peaceful location. Not a hotel as such, more a sanctuary/conference facilities??....no tea and coffee facilities in room but then you could help yourself to that from the coffee lounge. No dinner facilities but there was a pub in the high street. Curtains on the main windows but the circular higher ones did not have any so the room didn't really go dark
