Hinsley Hall

A 3 star hotel in a 5 star setting. Gorgeous surroundings, tranquil, peaceful and very welcoming.

Easy to find. Good location to the cricket ground which is why I was staying. Room was basic but that was all I needed.

The breakfast was excellent. I had a cooked breakfast to rival the Premier Inn and there were plenty of cereals, fruit and yoghurt too. The room had everything I. Ended, even if it was all fairly basic. Comfy bed.

The ambience was a bit like being on a school trip, in fact I think I went on a retreat when I was at school to a place rather like this. But otherwise the room I had everything I needed. The room was rather warm and I wish I had gone back for the offered fan. I chose to open the window instead but there was a bit much aeroplane and animal noises.

Interesting place - quiet rooms and lovely outdoor space.

I was unaware of the catholic retreat aspect of the building and arrived when all male conference was on. It was slightly intimidating for a single female traveller. But everyone was welcoming.

Everything you need for a peaceful stay in Headingley. A beautiful property, well connected and quiet.
