Hinsley Hall

Really good value, was in a great location for our needs, large car park and a great breakfast. Room was quite functional but clean and comfortable.

The TV was quite small and difficult to turn on and off. Minor gripe!

Rooms where clean and tidy, good shower, great breakfast.

However, no facilities at all, just a bottle bar which they open reluctantly - the whole place has a hospital/clinical feel to it and have since discovered that it was originally a Wesleyan Methodist training centre for missionaries - they still hold conferences their now and can't help feel the hotel is a side line. Thankfully a Wetherspoons opposite the hotel entrance which saved the day for food and drink

Very welcoming reception. The setting and grounds are amazing with good car parking facilities. The room was simple but clean and likewise the bathroom.

Nothing to dislike, this was an excellent value for money property

Clean, quiet, nice breakfast and the grounds were lovely to look at.

The room was small but very clean with a nice view on to the courtyard. The bathroom was very clean. The hotel sits in nice grounds and we walked back from the city centre in the evening (about 45 mins), although there is a very good bus service too. The breakfast was excellent. Although this is clearly a conference centre first and foremost, with an emphasis on the functional, the building and setting are lovely and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It's great value for money.

Loved our room basic but clean fab view of the lawn .the bed was very comfortable and clean, shower was great. We will definitely be back 👍
