This was a HORRIBLE experience. I went to check in and was told I didn't have a reservation. I argued with the front desk person but she told me I had no reservation and they had NO available rooms. I asked her to check again and she blew me off. I had to find another room in town which cost me twice the price. I refuse to book with these properties ever again. THEN I get a request for a review for a room I NEVER got to stay in. RIDICULOUS.

We had a reservation at another Elko hotel but when they informed us at check-in that their elevators were out of order and there were no downstairs rooms available, we cancelled our reservation and headed to the Holiday Inn Express. We walked in with no reservation, but I did identify myself as an IHG Rewards member. No problem getting the type of room we wanted, and the rate ended up as good as the advance reservation rate I had at the other hotel. The hotel appeared to be new. Brightly lit, smartly decorated, and very clean. We found parking up front and it was free. The hotel room was well furnished, comfortable and quiet. Other than a slight struggle getting connected to the free Wi-Fi, we experienced no issues during our stay. In fact, we've booked the same hotel for a return trip.

This hotel doors not have hot water, we stayed twice, 2 weeks apart and both times there was no hot water at night. It was luke warm in the morning, not warm enough to shower.
