Highlander Motel

The rooms are very nice and well cared for. Satisfied with my experience

The lady at the front desk was nice, and the parking is convenient. Everything worked for the most part, and I suppose it was clean, but old. The window drapes didn't really close all the way, and the doors weren't really square anymore, so they barely closed. I could see light through the door cracks, and hear the highway through the door. It wouldn't have taken much of a kick to open our front door without the key. We had a hard time even keeping it closed. The key was a physical key not a card, if that gives you an idea of how old the place is. The bathroom had nice tile in the shower, and a nice pedestal sink. Though, I suppose I would have preferred an actual bathroom counter to have more space for my toiletries.

Have stayed here several times. Basic clean , comfortable lodging. Will stay again

The beds were terrible broken springs that popped every time you moved. The beds were also small I would say maybe full size at the most. Also the room was dirty. The walls were dirty and the door frame was busted. Also the air conditioner fell apart in my hands when I tried to adjust the temp. Not impressed.

I was looking for an inexpensive room within walking distance of Jackie O’s and Little Fish breweries, and this was it! The staff was very friendly, check in and out was very easy, the room was clean and included a nice TV, microwave and relatively large mini fridge. For a room with such a great location and price, there had to be downsides, which were: 1) a gap in the doorframe that made me feel the room could easily be broken into, or bugs/tiny critters could crawl through 2) the bed frame made strange, rather loud sounds when getting in/out, sitting up, rolling over etc. 3) we had an ice bucket in our room, but there was no ice machine, which we didn’t realize until we were in rush to leave and needed ice for our cooler. If there wasn’t a bucket, we wouldn’t have assumed there was a machine. Not a huge deal, just strange!

It's an old motel that tries to do it's best with the condition it has. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was especially clean with updated shower, toilet and sink. The price during a holiday weekend was very good. It's within walking distance of some very good local restaurants. The staff were very friendly. We would stay there again

The price was nice but goes up on weekends. Not told in ad on line. Bathroom was small. No where to put toiletries. The staff was very nice and friendly. It's an okay place to stay if you just want to sleep.

I called after I made my same-day reservation to ensure my late (after 10pm) arrival would be alright. I arrived after 11 pm and was greeted with a smile and a friendly, fast checkin. The rooms are all first floor surrounding a central parking area which allows guests to park just a few steps frlm their room. The Highlander is clean, quiet, and comfortable. A very good value.

I had a roach crawl on my arm while in the bed. After packing the car up almost immediately, the employee at the office building refused to offer a refund, but rather "we can offer a different room".
