The Laburnum Retreat Shepherds Hut with private hot tub

Cosy, comfy cabin in a gorgeous location, perfect base for good walks and a soak in the hot tub afterwards!

Nothing, it was perfect!

This is our second visit, we came last year for my friends birthday and had so much fun we wanted to do it again.

We couldn't fault anything.

Surroundings were stunning

Key box very difficult to get into especially in the dark, tv wasnt working and no phone signal which we weren't made aware of

Lovely little getaway hidden away and lovely little hut.

Location was wonderful! Would have loved to have gone for a ramble, but it is December and we were not there long enough. Maybe next time when we go for longer and in more clement weather. The hot tub was excellent very private and on all ready for when we arrived.

Noticed you have a dehumidifier, but no indication on whether guests should use it, so we didn’t. Feel we should have had it on overnight as a lot of condensation in the morning.

Beautiful scenery and the person at the other end of the text message was very accommodating.

Firstly the Hot Tub was broken and it felt like my skin was melting with the amount of chlorine that was in it. The heater was about as useful as a fart in a spacesuit and the sheets were manky. Also the drive is either shared with Vladimir Putin who owes a what can only be described as a combination of stupidity and complete berskerness who tried ramming me off a single track road or the directors of the Somme war film. Other than that the amenities are first class

Location lovely

The oven was rusty no way would I cook anything with it- the kettle was dirty and has never been cleaned nor descaled - the accommodation was small- I requested the hot tub be emptied refilled before our arrival no signs to say this had been done infact dead flies floating in the top of it very disappointing
