That place was lovely and the hut was beautiful

I think the Time for check in was not good value for money 5 o'clock check in and 10 o'clock leave doesn't really give you time to enjoy the experience and for the price a day would of been nice

Bed was slightly uncomfortable. 4pm check in, would be better if it was 2pm

Beautiful location nestled under Hen Cloud peak. The track to get there is gravel with a few holes to avoid. Taking it slowly it's no trouble, even in our old VW Golf. Self check in was easy but it is worth saving the welcome email with the instructions before setting off as the phone signal is not great and there is no WiFi. I would also recommend downloading your driving maps before setting off. The hut itself was a great little home for our summer stay. The view across the little valley is gorgeous and the grounds have some lovely little touches to discover. They have managed to pack a lot into the little hut and it has all it needs. The bathroom light switch is behind the oven and took us a few minutes to find. The bed was firmer than we were used to but perfectly comfortable. We did get a visit by a particularly dramatic fox screaming in the night which was a bit of a surprise at first being used to town life. Waking up to that view across the valley with the sound of birds singing before even getting up is spectacular. We would definitely stay again.

The hot tub felt private at first until a neighbouring property got a delivery lorry with a very curious driver. It might be worth extending the screen on this side for more privacy. This would only block the view of that driveway whilst preserving the rest of the view.

No wifi, poor coverage hot tub was not hot enough Instructions from the owner were kinda demanding, for instance saying do this and that or you will pay! Remove the linen before leaving, and when they said “this is your responsibility!” “don’t come before 4” and “no hot tub after 10!” . Does not feel welcoming
