Pet friendly two bedroom cosy cottage

It’s easy access to mountains and public transport But its main plus was how cosy and homely it was I slept well there

All was good

Great location in a beautiful, quaint little village. Walks from the door. Steam train runs along the end of the garden. Waterfall, dam, lakes and cafe all within easy walking distance. Well-equipped kitchen with brew stuff provided and lots of lovely little extras. Games and books provided for rainy days. Fantastic log burner to get cosy in the evenings.

This is an old, characterful property, but unfortunately that also means it’s very dark and dingy. There appears to be a bit of a damp problem, as the fusty/mouldy smell is pretty awful, particularly downstairs. I didn’t really like eating my meals there, because of the smell, and it’s not somewhere I looked forward to going back to at the end of the day, I’m afraid.

Really nice quiet location, outdoor space, and super cosy downstairs room with fireplace.

We both found the mattress super hard which was a shame

We loved location and open fire. Lovely to have small garden space too.

Cute and cosy cottage. Nice garden area where you can see the steam train going past. Lovely walk to the waterfall and swimming lake 15 mins up hill behind the cottage. Location was great for visiting Snowdonia area. Great selection of games. Washing machine and dryer was so handy.

Cottage was everything we expected.

~It was clean, comfy and cute. The owner obviously likes nic nacks which made the property homely. Excellent for a couple or a couple with one kid. It was very quiet and very clean. Had a nice little garden out the back where you could sit though we didn't use it because of the weather and we were out all day. If you like steam trains you could sit out there and watch the Ffestiniog trains pass by above the wall at the back..
