Liberty Lodge

The property was well stocked so had everything we needed. The beds were co for table and the bedrooms roomy with large walk in closets in both. It was working walking distance of Puzzlewood, and other activities were only a very short drive away.

Lovely homely lodge.

A secured area to be able to let our dogs out without having to put them on a lead Just a little fenced off area would have been perfect and easier.

Self catering. Location was ideal for attending a wedding at Clearwell Castle

We liked everything about liberty lodge

Location was great for exploring the Forest of Dean Area. Very quiet and peaceful. Property was spacious and very well equipped, plenty of fresh towels, kitchen essentials etc. Plenty of storage space and drawers. Lots of plug points in handy places. The lodge had a smart tv with Netflix and WiFi was excellent throughout. The lodge was warm and comfortable.

The one shower temperature valve was overly sensitive and very hard to get right, either extremely hot or freezing cold. The other shower head fixing was loose/broken and you couldn’t direct the shower appropriately

The van was very upmarket and well presented

The local pub was closed which was a.shame but didn't affect the stay

Lovely lodge. Loads of room for the 4 of us. Well equipped for our stay. Perfect location for getting out and about. Host Tina was very lovely.

chalet was amazing, beds very comfy loads spare pillows blankets etc, two bathrooms one ensuite, everything all on one level lovely and clean

the cooker calor gas is very slow to cook on not used to it
