Hunter Lodge

Loved everything about this joint. Noteworthy mentions; The super kind staff, central location, private onsen, comfy beds, spacious room, dry room for all ski gear. The lodge’s restaurant downstairs also has really great food

Only complaint it that there isn’t a dryer in the lodge. There’s a washing machine (800¥ per use) but I could only hang the clothes in my room to dry (heater did a slow but good job of it). Definitely not the end of the world, and if you have a car you can go to the petrol station to do laundry. It certainly wouldn’t deter me from returning!

Such a wonderful place to stay! Fantastic location, spacious rooms, great onsens, delicious food and staff who are always smiling and happy to help. We felt very welcome here. Would definitely recommend! (Also very handy having a place to wax snowboards in the drying room)

The lodge is well located to access the shops, restaurants and ski slopes in the area. The private onsens and drying room for the ski gear were fantastic!

The bathrooms were on a level below the rooms, so that was the only niggle, but we got used to it.

I enjoyed the full Japanese hospitality experience. Freindly . Great location right in the heart of Myoko. Good board & ski waxing bench. The Hunter restaurant has great food. Good vibe & kool interior. One of the best little private Onsens i have experienced.

There was nothing i didn't like.about the Hunter. I came for the local Japanese experience. And it delivered.

Only showers were the onsen showers but not a massive issue

Very friendly and fantastic hospitality from all the hotel staff and family. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Fantastic food.
