"A tranquil gem."

10.0

I have to say this property is exceptional and defo value for your money. The location is so tranquil and relaxing. The property itself had everything you could need (even a jacuzzi bath) it also has a nice large cooker, washing machine, all the appliances you could need for your stay.

There was nothing we didn't like.

"Great hosts and great location. Would definitely book again."

Fabulous location, Charming cottage layout. Good size lounge. Plenty of hot water for showers. Small little courtyard table and chairs to enjoy the peace and quiet surroundings.

Maybe a shower added to the main bathroom would be nice.

"Adequate for a couple of nights but we wouldn't stay again."

7.0

Parking was not an issue. The property was clean and spacious and in a quiet location. The lounge furniture was very comfortable. There was a supermarket nearby and several places to eat.

The lights in both the kitchen and the master bedroom flickered, which was not pleasant for my wife who has epilepsy. The pressure on the boiler was well below one bar, so the central heating was not pressurised and therefore inadequate. The fridge door would not stay shut, so we had to put the vacuum cleaner in front of it to keep it shut. There was no washing up liquid provided. The bed in the master bedroom had a very cheap and uncomfortable mattress and the bed linen was cheap and poor quality. My wife ended up sleeping on the sofa and I slept in the single bedroom. The clocks in the property were both wrong. One of the lights in the lounge didn't work, so to avoid using the extremely bright main light, we left the kitchen light on. The staircase is narrow and steep with no hand rail. Over all, the property lacked care and attention to detail. Every issue could be addressed very quickly and easily.

"Loved our stay"

9.0

We had a lovely stay wished we'd booked for longer. The house was clean, comfortable, well equipped loved the jacuzzi bath and it's in a fantastic location. It's a short walk to the Dam surrounded by restaurants, cafes and pubs. We had a really nice meal in a Italian restaurant on the Dam.

Nothing we didn't but the stairs are very steep, we'd have liked a hand rail or handled on the stairs to grab. Also the lights in the master bedroom and bathroom flicker
