Secrets La Romana Resort & Spa - Adults Only - All Inclusive

Resort is beautiful, beach is incredible, breakfast and lunch is 5 star's but dinner ,I would give 2 star's.

Can’t wait to return, everything was absolutely wonderful.

I Believe the Food There Messed My Stomach Up.

I have to be honest our stay was good, Service was excellent, food was better than great. Miguel José is an excellent employee., treated us well and was very sweet. We were given a room which was also great. BUT treatment at checkin was very impersonal. We were told that we could use all facilites except Enclave. But was not told that the Pool which was accessible from the balcony of our room was prohibited for us. And on our second day at the hotel we were removed from the Pool in very, very unpleasant way by a person named Teodoro. We are humanas and make mistakes… (I guess he has not been told that) We entered the Pool through our room and told him so. We used the Pool on the first day. We never saw the signs. We usually book our stays in preferred clubs, but since this was a short stay we did not even notice you had this option available. I feel it was because my husband is Dominican and I Puerto Rican we were treated like bandits or people without money. We are good people and are very well off. We vacation in your country 3 to 4 times a year and always stay at good hotels. Had it not been for this incident our stay would have been 5 out of 5. My husband wants to return but I have serious doubts. We are planning family trip for my 75th birthday next year. My daughter’s loved the Pictures we sent about the food and facilites. I will let them know when we return Home.

Resort had a beautiful view. The staff was friendly. The only thing i did not like was that it is a very restricted resort you cant play any type of music , and there is barely any night time entertainment in the adult area . If you are looking for a quite and relaxing resort this is it .

Las personas que nos atendieron no fueron amables, en una ocasión no nos quisieron seguir sirviendo alcohol si no tomábamos agua, nadie tiene por qué obligar o decidir cuando un huésped ha tomado suficiente pues no estábamos haciendo ningún escándalo ni nadie estaba mal. También otro día una persona de la barra de la piscina del Club exclusivo al cual habíamos adquirido el acceso, cuando preguntamos su nombre nos respondió que como puede ser que estemos ahí hace 5 días y no sepamos nombre. Nos sorprendió mucho el trato a los huéspedes, siendo un hotel como le Hilton. Tambien el personal del counter no fue amable ni nos recibió como uno espera y cuando llamamos a preguntar algunas cosas no sabían ni tenían idea de cosas importantes del hotel, nos dieron información falsa que el SPA estaba cerrado y no era así.

Beach was very nice; ocean very clean. Food options were good. Entertainment activities were very lame, hotel lacked adult life except for music at 11pm.

Yes everything was good,in except the bathroom.we couldn’t used it because the toilet was not working. I complained to person who is in charge with,but they she didn’t pay attention to me. The show was boring,but staff were very respectful,beach clean and the whole property. That was the only issue,the bathroom. If I have to come back,I will!!!
