Studio 6 Longview, TX

First off, the lobby was locked down when we arrived shortly after 11pm with a sign saying closed until 7am. I had to repeatedly call the phone number to wake someone up so I could check in (we had reservations). Further, the property did not hold up to the standards of most Studio 6 properties I've seen - we encountered MANY issues. The A/C unit controls were broken and had to be placed on constant fan. The door's deadbolt lock was jammed and wouldn't lock. The hot/cold water in the bathroom was backwards, which I didn't figure out until my cold shower was almost done. The shower wasn't clean and had human hair in it. All the towels were so cheap and old it was like drying off with sandpaper - great for full body exfoliation! The mattress on the bed felt like a solid rock, and the pillows should have been replaced years ago - they were almost as flat as bubble wrap. The power outlet on one side of the bed didn't work. The worst part of the property was realized at checkout. The man who checked us out was super friendly and accepted my reports of the issues. However, his response was to softly say "the owner is already aware, and I apologize." Don't waste your money, even if you find a deal!

I will never stay at another one of these places again. I spent a few cents from 175.00. I stayed in Studio 6 Longview Texas Sept 28-Oct 1. The room was dirty toilet was dirty stains and hair on the wall hair in the bed no coffe pot as advertised on THEIR website floor dirty drawer full of ppls lost Items they left,door frame bent 2 towels 1 washcloth couldn't get anymore either we asked....twice. Grass was over grown no wifi not at all like the pictures showed creepy ppl walking around. Very sketchy. Was woke up with fighting and beating on doors and walls. Woke up twice one morning with someone beating on our door yelling. We only had enough money for 1 hotel. So we couldn't just leave and go somewhere else. We had to pay when we checked in. Out of our almost 175.00 we were refunded 25.00. The manager was rude and said so you wrote a review but you didn't even bother to talk to me now did you? I tried calling when all the fight was going on but NO ONE answered. Our last night we slept in a friend's room on a couch bc we couldn't get parking in front of our room and it was too creepy with thugs hanging out to be able to park and walk. We could have taken our money back and went somewhere else but all we were refunded was 25.00. I was ok with that UNTIL night came and all the "real activity" took place later that evening. Tried calling front desk no answer again. Kept getting message "enter access code" So basically we were forced to stay in their crappy unsafe motel.

There were roaches everywhere,nothing they would do

We seen people who appeared to live in the hotel, and had a party outside with beer cans and bottles scattered around. The hotel room was dirty, the lock mechanism with broken off, fire alarm removed with wires hanging out, and there were bugs in the room. Will not plan to stay there again.

The photos mislead to believe it would be a nice room. It had broken door frames that had been tapped & painted over, the bath tub had damage and it was very infested with roaches! I booked this room to be near a dying family member and had speant most my time outside the room before i realized it as bugs. After killing over 50 roaches and finding a huge roach on the shower curtain I left! The room smelled bad and the bedding had stains.

The room was dirty and the room took forever to cool off and also there was a bunch of shady looking people walking around. We were worried about our vehicle being broken into and the door dead bolt didn’t work not to mention the mattresses were uncomfortable. The Internet description didn’t say it was an extended stay either. Never staying there again

Helpful and friendly staff. The inside is spacious but needs more work. Overall its a place to stay for the price

In the past I've heard the term "roach motel" - this property brought that to mind. I gave up trying to count the number of coats of paint in my room, while it did have a kitchenette, towels and soap, there were no cups provided - I had to cup my hands under the faucet to get a drink of water. Also, when I tried to lock the deadbolt on my door, it wouldn't throw - apparently, after the last time the door had been kicked in, whoever repaired it didn't line up the strike plate with the door lock (fortunately, I had a small metal file with me, and was able to trim the bottom of the strike plate opening just enough that the bolt finally did close). My bed sheets had cigarette burns in them, I counted two roaches (dead) under my bed when I packed up, and the constant illumination of the walkway lights gave my curtains an eerie glow - all night long. Thank goodness I was only there one night .......
