Silky Oak Cottage

The cottage is a great property, exceptionally clean with everything you could need. When I contacted staff email was replied to immediately. Would highly recommended this property.

Nothing, it’s a beautiful property

The home was very welcoming and clean. It had everything we needed. For the price it was perfect. The location was great, not walking distance to anything really but the country feel. The local kangaroos greeted us each morning and evening. In winter it would be perfect with the cosy fireplace.

Nothing really, for the price it was fantastic. No dishwasher but that's ok. The tv could have been bigger. We had a bit of trouble with the wooden gate (getting onto the property) but we were told the secret was to have the two sides even.

The location as we were attending a wedding next door

The entire outside was covered in cob webs, spiders etc. the house is unkept and old. $1000 a night is unacceptable to charge for this facility. The water did not work and we had to have them come out and work it out. We were attacked by mosquitoes as there is a stagnant pond right outside the front door. There was also an ashtray left with cigarette butts in it. My husband spent the first hour with a broom trying his best to remove the webs so our grandchildren did not get bitten.

Amazing cottage with a lot of atmosphere. We had everything what we needed. Especially enjoyed the cool fireplace. Great value for money.

I had to move the bed because I dropped an earing. There was a lot of dust under there, so my only complaint about the property was that the floors underneath the beds need to be cleaned.
