Clean and comfortable

The name was misleading, it was a motel not an Inn.

The location

The room very small,one chair the office broken,the matrtress have plastic bag to much hot for sleeping.In the nigth to much noise we can’t sleeping.The people clean the other rooms 12 pm in the nigth.

I grew up in mass all my life and this motel was always known as one of the terrible places. So staying here I was nervous but it was cheap and close to where I needed to go, the staff is amazing and nice. The room is clean.

Nothing.

This is largely the fault of Booking but my reservation didn’t go through to Mt. Royal Inn, so when I arrived after my rehearsal at 10 pm ready to crash ahead of my 8 am meeting in a neighboring town the next day and the reception area was “closed” (there was someone in there), I was confused. The woman inside opened the door then told me it wasn’t possible that I had a reservation. When I showed her my confirmation, she said, “Are you sure it’s not a different Mt. Royal Inn?” When I read her the address she said, “Booking has been doing this lately,” which suggests she knew there was a problem and didn’t bother to try to fix it. Anyway, she told me there were no rooms. I asked her to provide me with documentation that I could provide to Booking so I could get a refund and she assured me I didn’t pay. Despite my literal bank receipt showing I did pay, she refused to believe me. At which point I came out like a wrecking ball, left in a huff, and slammed the door. She bothered to follow me out and yell, “You don’t have to slam the fucking door about it.” Truly a shitty experience from both this institution and from Booking.

The checkin person was very friendly.. The beds were comfortable however.. They had plastic coverings on the mattresses that was not.. Also the bed skirts were Plastic and had some stains on them.

We were very happy with room.

Although the rooms are small, they were very clean and comfortable. A/C worked great, as did the shower. Isabel at the front desk was friendly and the check in was handled smoothly.

We didnt get to stay at the hotel because the office was closed when we arrived. We had to book another hotel for that night. I asked for a refund
