The staff. Very inviting. Location is quick uphill walk from town. Both the private and communal onsens. Very relaxing. There was never anyone else in the communal onsen when I there either. I would absolutely stay here again.

This was a really fun hotel to stay at. It was a lovely break from the style of hotel we'd stayed at throughout our stay. The room was really spacious, with a lovely sitting area alongside the bedroom. The onsen and dinner experience were brilliant and the traditional vibe was something different! The staff were lovely and very helpful, I would hugely recommend staying here.

We loved the room and the view! And we really enjoyed traditional sleeping, felt like a sleepover and very authentic. The Onsen and the Lounge room were incredible.

The light in the room didn't feel comfortable. I was expecting the whole feeling of the stay to be very calm and thought out, I remember not feeling comfortable in the room in the evening. Facilities overall felt a little dated.
