Husband had the breakfast and was very pleased. Coffee excellent.

There are so many lovely extra touches with this B&B, a comfy bed, and a lovely deep bath. On arrival: It is a self check in where you find a delightful welcome box and key to your room. There is a communal lounge at the top of the stairs with 3 rooms off it. We were in room 2. In the lounge, there are dvds, books, a fridge, snacks, and some homemade cakes. There is a book with ideas on places to visit and a handful of leaflets for suggested days out, and there's a comfortable sofa to relax on. In the bedroom, you'll find a large and very comfortable bed which was suitable for my tall husband. The room is fitted with a smart TV, a dressing table and stool, and plenty of plug sockets. There's a kettle and a variety of hot and cold drinks. In the bathroom, there are toiletries, including cotton buds and cotton pads, big fluffy towels are provided, and even sleeping eye masks and ear plugs should you need them. Breakfast was an extra charge on the website but well worth the additional charge. Breakfast was freshly cooked each morning. All the team members were friendly and helpful. Parking on site for free.

In room 2, with a bath and shower, the room has a sloping roof, which my 6-foot husband struggled with. We both had to duck to move around the room. I could shower at 5.6. But he couldn't. Baths were fine. It would be helpful if this was noted on booking.com
