The Three Horseshoes

Excellent food, great staff. Location handy for motorway and Durham city (use Park and Ride from Belmont Junc 62).

Nothing very much.

Everything about the establishment was good with only one minor criticism see below. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Good restaurant with an interesting menu. Breakfast was impressively large and well cooked and whilst you were waiting for it to be cooked you could enjoy the fields with sheep out of the windows. One hint travel away from Durham to find a really cheap Jet garage at the time of staying 13p per litre cheaper than any other garage I passed.

Accepting it was a cold night, my room (no 3) was not as warm as I would have liked. Lovely big room but with a single radiator that on cold nights is insufficient

Extra friendly and helpful staff, beautiful location, great pub food.

Room was good, everything you needed. Bed was comfortable, bar menu excellent. Breakfast was very good, and the staff were very friendly and polite. Would stay here again, if in the area.

The room was cold at night, but the heating was on in the morning. That would be the only complaint from us.

Eventual room was clean and adequate, food good

First room i was allotted and no Wi-Fi signal and was extremely noisy (roadside). No where to sit other than at a food table or a bar stool. As a business traveller I find this unsatisfactory and I will not stay here again.

Staff were absolutely lovely. Great food and huge portions. Room was spotlessly clean and the bed was comfy.

Pillows were too hard for me but that’s a personal choice

Dinner was excellent! Brilliant choice, very good quality and despite it being super busy no real long wait for our order. Breakfast was delicious too, small selection of cereals, yogurts, cooked breakfasts we cooked to order .

Stairwell and room just beginning to get slightly tired but nothing a spring freshen up wont sort

Great food and lovely staff.

Pillows were hard for me , but that’s a personal thing.
