Food excellent, short drive to Howlands Park & Ride which is the easiest way to list cathedral and castle

Main course portions are enormous. We eventually ate off the children's menu or we could have shared a main course

The friendliness of the staff and the room was great- clean and well appointed

Decor/Carpets a little bit tired, could do with a freshen up.

Great location into Durham, easy to find and excellent breakfast.

Parking was busy but we found a spot.

Adam the manager was really helpful, friendly, and professional. A great asset to the hotel. The rooms were newly refurbished and the shower could possibly be the best ever. Meals in the restaurant were very generous. Only slight downside is the room is a little noisy from the nearby road, but ear buds are a great thing to travel with.

Staff were really nice & helpful. The food was what you'd expect; they had a good variety for dinner. Breakfast was pretty good. For where I was going, it was a good location.

The room was cold overnight even though the heater was on and I was under the duvet. I found a few hairs that weren't mine in the bed and bathroom. Certain parts of the tub could've been cleaner.

Plenty of parking and very easy to find. Room was spotless and very comfortable. Staff were excellent so friendly and accommodating. Food was also excellent.
