"Very welcoming staff and most enjoyable stay."

Staff were very welcoming. Kitchen was being refurbished so we couldn't enjoy an evening meal, which we understand are excellent. Continental breakfast was fine.

Mooie en grote eigen kamer met badkamer. Gevarieerd ontbijt, indien, gewenst op maat.

Misschien de lokatie. In het dorpje is verder niets. Paar kilometer rijden naar dorp met restaurants.

"i would stay here again without hesitation but then im a dog lover. but others may not be"

breakfast was very good and well presented homemade jam was a real bonus the two ladies were lovely hosts.

this is nothing personal as i am very much a dog lover but i think having 3 large dogs in the bar eating area could put people off. Also the bar area was very untidy and more resembled the ladies living room which was being used as such.

Breakfast wad good and the property was well located for where going to the next day

It was a shame there was no restaurant for dinner at the property and we had to go to the next village for our evening meal.

"Country pub that offers Band B in a rural location."

The location was ideal for an event we went to at Gaydon and was the main reason we booked as it was in a quiet area and secure for our old cars. The accommodation was fine.. The room was spacious albeit it a little dated and convenient for the parking. The breakfast was superb.

It was very disappointing to find that the restaurant was closed. We had traveled a long way and didn't appreciate having to drive out for dinner. An update on the website would have been able to advise of this or even a specific message via Booking.com The website and pub details are in need of a re-write. Breakfast was from 08-30 (although had been 08-00 on the details) which we would have like to have earlier. We were accommodated with 08-00 breakfast on the day of our Gaydon event as we had to be set up on site by 09-00. I was aware that the pub is described as dog friendly (as am I) but I was shocked to be greeted by three large noisy dogs on arrival. I'm sure that guests aren't often appreciative of this welcome.
